Sports Activities

Together with KU Studenteridræt/UCPH Student Sports KU Festival  invites you to join “KU FESTIVAL x KSI”, where you you can kickstart your KU Festival day with our fun open trainings or informal tournaments together.

KU Festival x KSI is your chance to try out some of KU Student Sports’ many activities, and a really good excuse to get a good and fun start to this year’s KU Festival. All KU students and KU employees are welcome to participate in KU Festival x KSI at KU Student Sports – we train between 12:00 and 17:00.
Find your activity below and sign up for one of today’s open training sessions or one of today’s tournaments.

From 11:30 – 17:30 you can use the changing rooms at the OM hall, Nørre Allé 53, so you can quickly get ready for KU Festival – after training and competition.

Registration for the sports activities is now opens for – almost – all activities
You are also welcome to stop by our festival booth at Nørre Alle 53 and see if there may be a walk-in space for you on the day. On the day, it is always the coach’s assessment whether it is possible – see you at the festival!

Get the team together and serve, dig and spike your way to a start to your KU Festival.

Tournament is played between 12:00 and 15:00 at OM-hallen.

Folk Dance

Feel the contagious joy and excitement as we dance together to live music and learn new steps together.

Get the best WOD to kick off the festival!

Traing and good times go together – get in a solid session before joining the festival concerts and talks starts.

Try out Hip Hop and House

Break out your best moves and have fun learning new moves getting ready for a solid KU Festival night.

House is at 13:00 and Hip Hop at 14:00

Join our Tennis sessions

Challenge your study buddy and get a good grip of tennis with our free tennis sesssions and join the open courts play afterwards.

Try one – or both – training session and play on open courts afterwards.

Jugger – try out the viking game an hour?

Want to try out a crazy game – Jugger it is, then – try out Jugger together with JuggerCPH with short showcases and workshops – the wildest start to you KU Festival. See intro to Jugger right here.

Go high with climbing!

Try out bouldering on our adjustable indoor bouldering wall.

Yoga

Leave the week behind with good stretches, gentle guidance, deep breaths, and get completely grounded—so you’re fully ready when the music starts.

Muay Thai

Try Muay Thai’s versatility and focus in our introductory sessions, where the focus is on meeting martial arts in a safe environment.

Pickleball

Looking to learn Pickleball? Then try our sessions introducing you to the successful fast learned intensive racquet game. Hot tips and good fun guaranteed!

Dodgeball

Dodgeball is speed, precision and fun – you learn the game through quick games and are introduced. Bring your friends and have a fast-paced competition before the music starts.

Trampoline

Get high with our trampoline team and play with balance and the rush of adrenaline in a good and safe environment.

Strong and flexible

Try our new class “Strong and Flexible”, which gives you a nice and clear introduction to effective strength training based on body weight, core focus and effective stretches that give you a body in surplus.

Physio Check-in

Spring can bring aches and pains for some, as the winter body awakens with increased physical activity. If you’re struggling with an injury that’s keeping you from being as active as you’d like, it might be time to get it checked out.

Get a free check-up with our physiotherapist, Christian Neergaard, if your Spring activities are threatened by a creaky shoulder, a troublesome knee, or something else entirely.
