Students<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We encourage content that is relevant across the audience groups. We are aiming to create a non-Danish speaking track throughout the program as well, so activities in English are welcome.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<b>Recommended Formats<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend activities that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"m_-2261615840374836731MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Entertaining the audience because you are a good communicator and\/or involve the audience in a debate, quiz or competition<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Has a duration of <strong>max. 45 minutes<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Requires maximum <strong>5 persons<\/strong> on the stage at the time, if not, we need to figure out a location solution outside the tents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a lot of simultaneous activities during the festival, so the festival guests will circulate between tents and stages. Due to this, we can\u2019t expect the guests to all participate in all activities \u201cfrom beginning to end\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Successful previous formats have been:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quiz\/Kahoot<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-2261615840374836731MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Talks and conversations with questions from the audience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slam formats (Science Slam as well as PseudoScienceSlam)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Short challenges (\u201cSolve a problem, win a prize!\u201d)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award Shows<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Practical Physics\/Chemistry shows<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Competitions, tombola, and raffles<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are always interested in testing new relevant formats. The KU Festival is furthermore an opportunity to test out planned activities for Folkem\u00f8det, Bloom etc.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]<b>The KU Festival furthers and supports the community across UCPH<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of the KU Festival is to gather the entire UCPH and advance the community and collaboration between students and staff across the faculties and campuses. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This purpose is realised with the many different Revues meet up and coordinate their shared performance in the months leading to the festival. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time the KU Festival can inspire the participants to engage in the university life at UCPH, for instance by shining a spotlight on the many different associations the students and staff can join and get engaged in.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<b>Timeframe<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a general rule this is part of the afternoon program, that is places between 14-18.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In certain circumstances some activities, for instance those held outside at the festival site, can be allowed to fit into a later time slot. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contact <\/span><a href=\"mailto:program@kufestival.dk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">program@kufestival.dk<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to inquire further about this.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<b>Stage and gear<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All stages have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A low stage<\/li>\n<li>Speaker system, microphones, and sound technician\/assistant<\/li>\n<li>Benches and\/or tables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other desired elements must be coordinated well in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Some stages also have a TV screen approximately 90 inches.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]<b>Limitations<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Activities can\u2019t be based on handing out beverages or alcohol. The KU Festival is partially sponsored by Carlsberg<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The safety of the festival site is important. Please confer with us before you plan any explosions, firework or fire<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be aware that with a lot of simultaneous program events, presentations will have to function despite some sound pollution from the surrounding stages and activities<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are a small planning and production crew.
